Final Commercial

I am so excited to present to you my final commercial. Me and my group worked really hard to produce this commercial. We had so much fun doing this and learned so much. It was an interesting process experiencing how much work goes into making a commercial. From brainstorming ideas. To thinking of dialogue and storyboarding. Then after going out to film everything. To seeing everything come together at the very end. So please from the bottom of my heart. Please enjoy the commercial that me and my friends worked so very hard to make.

Editing Blog

Day two of editing. Today is our last day of editing. This is the last day for me and my group to put our final touches into our commercial. We’re almost halfway there. Today we’re just trying to figure out our digital elements. So I look to see for PNG‘s of the Arizona logo. Any gifs or animations I can put in. After scouring the Internet. I find a cool animation I can use for the ending of the commercial. I’ll show it to Jordyn and then the rest of my group mates and they approve. Then we discussed other visual elements. Like what are quote will be at the end of a commercial. Which was the answer to all your problems. This would be referring to the fact that in the commercial the two actors are thirsty and are in need of some thing to drink. So then they go and get Arizona tea. So I helped look for text that matched the Arizona ice tea font. Until we found one that the whole group liked. Then it was just putting everything together. I was sitting next to Jordyn the whole time givin

Today it was my first day editing. I wasn't editing  much because I really didn’t know how to edit. I would mostly given my input. The person who was editing was mostly Jordyn. But I was still there right next to her going through the clips and seeing what we needed. I would answer any questions Jordyn asked me. For example what type of cuts we needed to put in or what type of better transitions look better for our commercial. After all the clips were put together. I would help put in Visual advice to try to convey the mood of our commercial. Trying out different filters to see what type of lighting it could bring in a dry and a hot day. I would find filters and show them to my teammates to see if they all liked it. If they didn’t I would continue to look and give my opinion on filters they thought looked good until we all decided on one that worked. Then after it was deciding music. Me and my teammates discussed many different genres of Music. We first decided what type of backg

Filming Day hehe

Day two of filming had a lot more complications.  Me and my group were missing a teammate so was we only had three of us to help on the commercial.  There was only one scene to film in the commercial that we had to finish that day.  So that relieved a lot of the stress of having to fill multiple scenes.  That still doesn’t mean it wasn’t a long day of filming.  So I walked down to our second filming location which was the softball court.  The softball court was going to be The Arizona desert because of the orange sand it had.  When I got down to the softball court me and my teammates decided to put down all our stuff in a little building right next to the field.  Then it was time for me and my group to decide where we were going to start filming in the field.  I decided to pitch the idea of a filming next to one of the white markers so that I could lay on it so I could get the best shot of me grabbing a drink.  Which ended up not happening due to the wind and blowing the direction th

So in my group, I was one of the actors in our commercial. I started the day off by being ready to help my teammates get props and any other things we needed from the classroom before leaving. I grabbed the Arizona ice tea cans and prepared to head out to the bathroom to go change. After changing to my outfit for the commercial. I walked out to the football field and went to the closest bleachers, so I could sit in the middle of the bleachers as in my storyboard.  I was sitting down practicing some of my lines with the other actress until my groups first problem arose, where the angle of the bleachers that we were sitting at wasn’t working because of the direction of the sun.  The sun was behind me and the other actress instead of above us or in front of us.  So me and my group decided to make the collective decision to move to the bleachers behind me.  Then I started to walk over there with my group. I and the other actress got onto the middle of the bleachers. I got on to sit right h
