Hey welcome back so, I tried getting our actor from our last film to come and act again for our new film. But sadly he declined this offer as he said it was a lot of work for the last one and he wasn’t up for it to do it again. I felt extremely bad as we now had to scramble for a new actor. I do not blame my friend for declining it is a lot of work and he helped us so much our last project. I completely understand. this sadly set everybody back a whole week. As well as other iss ues. Like some of us couldn’t show up for that filming day as we were busy. In the meantime my teammate Jordyn found us an extremely good replacement with her friend Jeremiah. Then after came the devastating news that we could not film at Jordyn‘s aunts house. As she did not feel comfortable letting us film there. I offered up my house again as a filming location. There were sadly a few problems with my house as it didn’t fit the requirements that we needed for our film so we used it as a push comes to shove

Music blog: Email to the Beat

Hello, as we all started to work on our project. The first thing that we had to do was look for music that we would be using for the background of our film. So everyone including myself started looking for music that would fit the theme that we were going for. It took us a while to find some songs. Mostly me as I was a little overwhelmed with the amount of tracks that I found and couldn’t listen to all of them so. I tried I putting my best tracks into a YouTube playlist. So that my teammates could listen to them. I was primarily Looking for Erie music something haunting. That could give suspense to the listener. As always looking through music I took a lot of inspiration from horror games. For example mostly silent hill and resident evil for that there is some thing greater eeriness. But it wasn’t cutting the mark as I was leaving out the sci-fi aspect so it was just giving a little bit too much horror and it just wasn’t a good balance. So we decided on other music for example Billy Jo

Storyboard Blog: Sketches Before Shots

Hey, I hope you didn't miss me too much! Today we completed our storyboard, which was not too difficult to create being that our script contained the majority of the information we needed to format it. I've explained each scene at length below to ensure that everything has been clearly conveyed. Scene 1:     In Scene 1, we will begin with an establishing wide shot that will capture the exterior of the subject's home. We intend for the atmosphere to be gloomy and depressing and for the lawn to have sickly-looking grass. Said dismal setting will be shown with the intent of establishing context within the first few seconds of the opening and allowing the audience to understand that the location in which the subject finds themselves in is not the best, as will be later indicated by other details, which I will highlight in later scenes. At this point in time, the name of our studio will be shown in the sky, directly above the roof of the subject's home, for two to three se
