Production blog: minor setbacks
Hey welcome back so, I tried getting our actor from our last film to come and act again for our new film. But sadly he declined this offer as he said it was a lot of work for the last one and he wasn’t up for it to do it again. I felt extremely bad as we now had to scramble for a new actor. I do not blame my friend for declining it is a lot of work and he helped us so much our last project. I completely understand. this sadly set everybody back a whole week. As well as other iss
ues. Like some of us couldn’t show up for that filming day as we were busy. In the meantime my teammate Jordyn found us an extremely good replacement with her friend Jeremiah. Then after came the devastating news that we could not film at Jordyn‘s aunts house. As she did not feel comfortable letting us film there. I offered up my house again as a filming location. There were sadly a few problems with my house as it didn’t fit the requirements that we needed for our film so we used it as a push comes to shove location. then Jordyn pulled through again letting us use her house as our new location since it did fit our original plans more. in the meantime I pulled my weight by finding the stabilizer to stabilize the camera. as well as trying to get the supplies to make the sign. I started on the base of two different designs. for each of the different rooms of our actor. and this point in time we have not chosen a name yet so I had to decorate them without a name. which was no problem I got two different colored wooden boards one green and the other one purple. Which I painted of course. Then I took a marker to color the corners of the green board black. After having a silver sharpie marker and coloring the corners silver for the purple one.
