Cutting to the finish line

 Hello! It is our last editing blog until we upload our final product. We started by taking all our clips into our editing software for review. In the meantime, one of my group-mates browsed the internet for mp3 sound files to include in our music videos for background noise. We were specifically looking for doors opening, the swooshing when an iPhone message gets sent, and ding whenever you get a notification. When we were finished converting youtube videos into mp3 files we moved on to the next step. I assisted my group-mate in removing the sound from all our clips. After we were done removing all the sound and helped edit mp3 files into our film. One of my members had many problems with the program that she was using to edit. For the scene in question, we had to blur the background and blur the couple walking by. It was extremely difficult the blur. The program my teammate was using just wasn't cooperating. So I was thinking of what I could do to help. I remember a friend of mine told me of a program they used for editing. It was called DaVinci Resolve. It was free so I told my team member to try it out and I'm so happy they ended up using it. The program also lets us add text to the screen. To help our audience read better. It also helped us with our panning shot that we couldn't physically add-in. Then it was just time to cut down some of our shorts again and review our timing. Which allowed the video to be approximately a minute and twelve seconds long. As in the end, I and my group watch the video and are so excited to exhibit the final product!

  Props      Since my group is doing the Arizona drink, the only prop we will use the most is an Arizona can. Along with any other insignificant items in the commercial. Costumes      Nicole and I will be the actors in the commercial. At the beginning of the commercial, we will have comfy, chill outfits on. Planning Blog: Title Design- It's in the Details

  Well hello there! We are now going to explain the layout and formatting of the title design for our opening sequence. As of right now, all of the design ideas we have outlined below will likely be those that we will be using going forwards; however, there is still the possibility that we may decide to make changes as our production process continues and we reach the editing stage of our project. After scouring the internet, we found and settled on using the "Sometimes" font, being that it was not as gaudy as some of the others that we encountered online and, as such, would not detract attention away from the film itself, but it would still be able to properly credit each participant. Additionally, said font's use of sharp edges allows it to create a tense feeling that feeds into the thriller aspect of our film.      When it comes to ensuring that each of our titles are readable, we will likely not embed all of them into our scenes and run the risk of them...
