Film looking purple
It was the first day of filming. Everyone showed up at my house so before that I cleaned my house to get ready for filming. I waited for everybody to get there. Then it was time to plan the first scene and go to our first filming location. It was my brother's room so we had to clean up and try to make it look messy so that it could fit the aesthetic that we were going for. I took a bunch of clothes from my brother's room and scatter them along the room trying to make it look messy. After that, it was time to film our first angle which was a medium shot of the actor's phone at a side angle. I was in charge of filming that scene and keeping the music in sync with what I was filming, so I had to memorize the timing. For scene 2 it was filming the actor in the center of the frame in a medium shot. I helped adjust the lighting for that sense so it would seem more dark and gloomy and not so bright. After I filmed a medium close-up shot behind Brandon showing him clearing away messages. Then I went on and filmed Brandon‘s eye. To then cut back to me filming Brandon's text “I miss you”.
As we then cut to the next scene of Brandon in a medium shot about to fall over to hug his pillow. The way I filmed the scene was when Brandon started to lay down I would move the camera with him so that I would have a smooth transition for the next scene. This was the scene I had the most trouble filming I couldn’t get the transition right and I kept moving out the frame but after eventually practicing it and doing it so many times I got the scene. After I had to change the hallway scene so that I would follow Brandon. Because my brother's room is outside of the house and in a completely different area, so to make it look more cohesive it would be better to film behind Brandon following him up to the door and then him closing it while I stood there. So we could cut to him going into the car and closing the door. Those were all the scenes we filmed our first day.
