Putting things Together

 Now it was time to edit what we had together. I sadly couldn’t edit that much or put a lot of my input into the beginning of the editing process. I had to go to a dentist appointment while my group was editing. Beforehand I was there for 30 minutes. My group and I discussed the storyboards and how we would put each scene together. Jordyn would be our main editor and she is using clip champ to edit. I had a few questions about timing. I was a bit worried about how everything would lay out due to the fact that we still needed to cut some seconds off scenes. But they ended up working out at the end. Then I talked to my group about the sound effects that we will be using. For example to indicate the car doors slamming and the text notification.


Which then after Jordyn showed me later in the day. I was gone for most of the whole period. So I only had a little time to crunch in what I could’ve done. Later in the day I texted Jordyn to help me catch up with the whole group. Then showed me what she did. She showed me how she put the name card in as a placeholder for Saturday nights. Which is the title screen of our video which is supposed to appear on the phone screen but couldn’t get that done yet. Then also showed me how she put in some of the sound effects later on in the video without actually having the scenes yet. Those were all the clips we could edit and film until tomorrow.

  Props      Since my group is doing the Arizona drink, the only prop we will use the most is an Arizona can. Along with any other insignificant items in the commercial. Costumes      Nicole and I will be the actors in the commercial. At the beginning of the commercial, we will have comfy, chill outfits on. Planning Blog: Title Design- It's in the Details

  Well hello there! We are now going to explain the layout and formatting of the title design for our opening sequence. As of right now, all of the design ideas we have outlined below will likely be those that we will be using going forwards; however, there is still the possibility that we may decide to make changes as our production process continues and we reach the editing stage of our project. After scouring the internet, we found and settled on using the "Sometimes" font, being that it was not as gaudy as some of the others that we encountered online and, as such, would not detract attention away from the film itself, but it would still be able to properly credit each participant. Additionally, said font's use of sharp edges allows it to create a tense feeling that feeds into the thriller aspect of our film.      When it comes to ensuring that each of our titles are readable, we will likely not embed all of them into our scenes and run the risk of them...
